Cairns Private Hospitals Big Upgrade

Cairns Private Hospitals largest redevelopment is on track with the hospitals new Orthopaedic and Surgical units due to be opened in November. The hospitals new 21 chair Renal Dialysis opened in July and the front foyer of the hospital has also been finished. The expansion and redevelopment will take Cairns Private Hospital to a total number of 150 beds and provide dedicated Orthopaedic, Surgical and Rehabilitation units including a gymnasium. There will also be a dedicated Cardiac Medical unit.
The next stage of the rebuild for the Women’s Unit has also commenced this week and will include 3 dedicated Birth Suites and a new Special Care Nursery.
