Dr Corey Smith is a specialist cardiologist with interest in the investigation and treatment of patients with palpitations, syncope and cardiac arrhythmias as well as device treatment of heart failure.
Dr Smith studied medicine and graduated with honours from the University of New South Wales with physician training at St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney. He is a fellow of the FRACP, completing cardiology training through the Sth Eastern Sydney Area Health Network. After undertaking training in cardiac electrophysiology & implanted cardiac devices at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane. Dr Smith then completed a further clinical fellowship at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Science Centre,Canada, where he focused on complex ablation for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia.
