Dr Amy Bailey is a specialist cardiologist with an interest in interventional cardiology working in Cairns and on the Sunshine Coast. In Cairns she is working at Cairns Private Hospital and consulting at Heart Rx Cardiology.
Dr Bailey is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and the University of Newcastle and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Amy completed an interventional fellowship at Princess Alexandra Hospital, with special emphasis on diagnostic coronary angiography and percutaneous intervention. Her passion for cardiology saw her complete a second fellowship in Complex Coronary Intervention at St George’s University Hospital in London. This advanced cardiology training included chronic total occlusions, left main and bifurcation procedures.
